THE CAT. NOT ME (2013)

THE CAT. NOT ME (2013)

The third studio album by Marianne Dissard.

Find it on Bandcamp

Dramatic but never theatrical, this confident third album confirms Dissard's evolution from the idiosyncratic mélange of Americana and Chanson that characterized her first two Tucson albums, 'L'Entredeux' and 'L'Abandon', an evolution stamped by her recent live collaborations with Seattle producer Budo (Macklemore) and her move to Europe.

REVIEWS (DE)

► “Dunkelheit, Drama; Aufbruch, Licht; neue Energie. Respekt.” Frankfurt Journal

► “Dunkel die Texte, aber auch voller Witz. ‘The Cat. “The Cat. Not Me” ist nicht nur Chanson Américaine, es ist auch Musik extraordinaire” DeutschlandRadio Kultur Tonart

► “Rupping, schwierig, gut” Missy

KulturNews

► “Deutlich experimenteller, geradezu opulent orchestriert ” Vogue Germany

REVIEWS (FR)

► “Une oeuvre majestueuse” Longueur d’Ondes

► “L’audace, la singularité mais aussi l’intelligence sont, au-delà de toute description musicale, les mots qui me semblent le mieux caractériser ‘The Cat. Me Not’.” Happiness In Upsala

A Découvrir Absolument
